I'm not a lolita by any means here, but I came to find out about an event that would be amiable to the lolis of western North Carolina. If you want to spread the word about this event to egl, feel free. (I would have posted this to egl myself but I have no posting access there yet. Alas.)
If you live close to STATESVILLE they have a Holiday Victorian Tea Party set for December 11-13, 2008.
The information is as follows...
Victorian Tea Parties In Downtown Statesville at the Historic Sharpe House. Each seating will be an authentic Victorian Tea Party with delicious tea and treats, live local music such as harpists, dulcimers & folk guitar. Gift shop stocked by local artisans & retailers is open to the public. Saturday only we’ll have an antique sleigh and photographer available for photos. I'm no lolita, I'm not going to organize a meet (and that's the week of my final exams too!) so I'll leave it to the rest of you if you want to meet up, but I thought I should give you a heads-up just in case any of you might want to go.
